Liposuction

Liposuction removes fat cells from problem areas of the body. It slims and reshapes, improving your body contour and proportion. To improve the contour of the body plastic surgeons perform liposuction. The procedure reshapes the body’s contour by removing some fat from larger fat deposits located between muscle and skin. When the larger fat deposits are removed the body naturally reshapes itself.

What Do I Need to Know?

Fat cells are removed with liposuction. Usually, you won’t gain back weight in the areas where the liposuction was performed.

Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL)

A solution is injected into the fat that numbs the area, shrinks the blood vessels, called the tumescent technique. Then our surgeon will perform power assisted liposuction using a small diameter cannula. The cannula is round on the end and has holes on the side which suctions the fat using a special handpiece which causes the cannula to vibrate back and forth. This back and forth action breaks up the fat in a gentle manner.

What Should I Expect After Surgery?

You should expect swelling, bruising and soreness for several weeks. The skin may feel numb and hard to the touch. Wearing a compressive garment for approximately 2-4 weeks helps reduce swelling and promotes your body to conform to its new shape. Pain medication, prescribed by the surgeon, will help control the discomfort during your recovery period. Instructions for home care will be given at your pre-op appointment.

Tummy Tuck

From the sunlit beaches of Santa Monica to the fashionable streets of Beverly Hills, a flat tummy has become a coveted and universally admired symbol of fitness and beauty. When a rigorous diet and ab crunches fail to do the trick, a tummy tuck (also known as abdominoplasty) will deliver real results and give you that stunning stomach you always wanted. Aside from removing excess fatty tissue concentrated in your abdomen, this procedure tightens abdominal muscles that have been separated and weakened by pregnancy or lack of activity. A tummy tuck may also reduce the appearance of stretch marks, especially those located below the navel. It is true that liposuction can also remove fat, but it can't fix flabby, hanging skin, which often persists after weight loss or childbirth. Many of our patients find that combining liposuction with a tummy tuck can enhance the results and give you an outstanding flat stomach.

Brazilian Butt Lift

Effective in treating both varicose and spider veins, sclerotherapy uses injectable sclerosing solution or foam that causes the vein to shrink.

Steps Involved:

Ultrasound is recommended to ensure precise results.

This is a relatively painless procedure that requires no anesthesia.

This treatment involves thinnest possible needles to make a number injections along the vein

The affected area is injected with sclerosant solution or special foam which will cause the vein to collapse.

Recommended treatment is performed in 2-3 sessions to achieve fading of undesirable veins.

Mommy Makeover

The heat produces a steam bubble inside the vein, which destroys the vein walls. As the affected vein collapses, the body naturally absorbs the dead tissue.

Steps Involved:

The affected vein is located using ultrasound imaging and marked with a pen.

A minimal incision is made.

A catheter is inserted through the incision and positioned inside the vein.

The laser fiber is inserted through the catheter to heat the vein.

After the heat seals the vein, the incision is covered with a bandage vein.
